Organic Oolong (Ti Kuan Yin)
Known as the “Iron Goddess of Mercy”, this delicious organic tea is sourced through our Ethical Tea Partner from China.
It is incredibly time consuming to produce with over 12 distinct processing steps involved to create a very fine tea closer in oxidisation to green tea than black, rolled into the characteristic ‘ball’ shapes which ring like iron when dropped into your teapot hence the name.
Best served steeped at 90 degrees celsius for around 3 minutes to fully enjoy the delicate orchid-like flavour, hint of sweetness and medium levels of caffeine.
